This jug or aiguière is a container made to hold and pour water. Initially made in clay, the first aiguières made in glass appeared in the late XVth century. Its production and use gradually disappeared in the XVIIIth century. In the middle of the XIXth century, it will come back on the table, made in lead cristal, to hold and pour wine.
Our aiguières are designed from models of the late XVIIth century, manufactured in the East of France.
